Small artifact of a raw power of nature, this acorn is a key for the Feygate which leads to the realm of Feywild. It is an old artifact known only to the most powerful of elven druids, kept safe in Aen Leadar, the druidic keep deep inside the Forest of spirits. Once every year, the great council of elven druids meet at the sacred grove of Ashelvane, the place where the first Elven queen has been granted the power of Spirits.

At that time of the year the druids use the Acorn in order to open the gate to the Feywild, thus enabling the primal power from the other side to pass the threshold and strengthen the spirits of the forest on material plane. They call it the night of the Fey, and they mark it all over the Forest of spirits by calling upon the powerful beings of the woods and pledging vows to them.
